(Event) All-City Poetry - Free Event! Start: 4:00 pm End: 6:00 pm Location: North Classroom Description: Free Poetry classes for young people 6th -12th grade! We all have a truth to speak, learn to speak your truth poetically. This class will focus on spoken word poetry and the work of artists involved in poetry slam. We will practice tapping our creativity, crafting images with figurative language and performing our poems. Opportunities for recording will be available.
