Four Sheep Acoustic Music Concert Series - Mark Erelli

Four Sheep Acoustic Music Concert Series is bringing national and local folk and Americana artists to West Seattle at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center. The concert series is the realization of a dream for husband-and-wife team Brian and Jill Higgins who first met at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival in Okemah, OK in 2003. "Our goal is to share the music of many of the artists we have grown to love over the years with our community. This is a void in West Seattle that we are trying to fill so that residents don't have to leave their community to enjoy good live music." After attending the grand opening of the Art Center and seeing the Thelma DeWitty Theater, Brian and Jill knew they had found the perfect venue to launch their concert series.

In addition, Four Sheep will set up each show to be a benefit for a different West Seattle non-profit organization. Their goal is to present at least one show a month at the DeWitty Theater. A second show has already been added to the schedule for August 3rd featuring Massachusetts-based singer/songwriter Mark Erelli (www.markerelli.com).
