Gesture Drawing Immersion

Sat/Sun: 9:30AM-4:30PM each day with a one hour lunch break.

Immerse yourself in the world of Gesture Drawing making dynamic marks and renewed vitality and life-spirit. Gesture drawing teaches us to recognize movement, spacial relationships and the energy of the model translated through marks on paper.

Fugate guides this very unique workshop with specific exercises for four hours each day foloowed by two hours of uninstructed life drawiing where she joins you to draw from the model. This provides independent time for you to assimilate and practice drawing the Gesture as wellas longer studies from the model. Fugate's exercises are aimed at expanding your own mark-making and further your understanding of how the figure exists in space physically, visually and emotionally.

Intermediate to Advanced Level: This workshop is designed for those who have Gesture Drawing experience or have previous life drawing experience.

Workshop prices include the model fee.
